Looks like Donald Trump will get routed. Donald Trump says he wanted to ‘Make America Great Again’ and the Republicans chose him. They deserve their fate for now. I suspect a better Republican party will emerge because that is part of what makes America great.

I believe his childish ‘Make America Great’ again tagline is his undoing.

He was so close…he could have united the Republicans much easier with ‘Look at the Stock Market…Global Warming is WORKING’

I saw this beauty of an ‘America is Great Right Now’ factoid on Stocktwits yesterday:

We’ve done this despite Obama being Kenyan and the founder of ISIS.

We’ve done this with Government Goldman Sachs and Crooked Hillary.

We are doing this with 70 year old presidential nominees and a Congress that should be deported.

We’ve done this while Donald Trump has bled public market investors dry in a few of his public market disasters and a broken bankruptcy system that has given him 5 chances at not just being an infantile asshole.

We’ve done this with too many shitty airports and crappy trains.

We’ve done this with globalization and all the other good and bad trade agreements.

We’ve done this with wacko gun laws and too many bullets and too much firepower.

We’ve done this with poisoned food.

We’ve done it with the EU and Brexit.

We’ve done this while losing the coal industry and manufacturing jobs to emerging markets.

We’ve done this with TARP and ZIRP and ‘Global Coordinated Monetary Easing’ so maybe it’s all just an illusion.

For now though we have a continued opportunity to keep America great. Each of us can do our jobs and pitch in a little.

We have our warts and chemical imbalances but we have the best drugs too.

If I were running for president I might just say:

‘Take the drugs…financial and chemical…they work’
