Breaking 180

For the last 5 years I have worked hard at getting my weight below 180 lbs.

It all started when I tipped the scale at 206 and was disgusted with myself back in 2016.

I took up cycling again and that really helped, but the lowest I have gotten my weight was 185 and my average weight has been about 190 lbs.

When I was hit with this bowel blockage (Chrohn’s) late November and went into the hospital I had just come off a long road trip from Toronto, Israel and New York and weighed myself at 194.

This morning (3 and a half weeks later) I weighed myself and was shocked to see the scale:

I guess I never needed to ride one mile to get my weight down.

All kidding aside, I’m struggling with my appetite and finding the right food to eat that won’t upset my stomach. I hate the protein shakes I have been recommended.
