Hello Bratislava

I am with Ellen spending a few days in Bratislava on the Danube today.

We just take a long scenic run on the river.

My legs feel like ‘bricks’ after spending 6 plus hours a day on a road bike.
I don’t know much about this city or country but it does have a long and deep Jewish heritage.

We were invited to the country and see the city  by the founder of eseT, Anton Zajac, who is a friend and who also spends a good part of the year on Coronado. His company has consistently been voted the top Slovak company. His son Peter, also a friend, lives on Coronado with his family is going to show us around today.

We will also get a tour of the eseT home office. I think the building is in the background behind the bridge in my obit I took above while running.

The Zajac’s love to invest locally in tech startups and I have the privilege of speaking to a slew of founders later today. From what I hear and see they all focus on profitability a lot earlier than US startups so it will be fun to meet and listen.
