The Hustle Of Tel Aviv – Some Products and People To Follow

I had a very busy day in Tel Aviv…not all of it eating.

I had a bunch of meetings planned but also left room for some people to find me via my Falafel tweets which they did.

I will share a couple of them because you may enjoy the products and/or following along as they share content and links…

My friend Doug Horlick in Phoenix introduced me to David Woo now living in Tel Aviv. David was the Head of Global Interest Rates, Foreign Exchange, Emerging Markets Fixed Income Strategy & Economics Research, Bank of America, New York (2010 – 2020).

He is taking his work directly to the public now via his blog and YouTube.

We had a very animated discussion as I imagine every person has with David. He has made so many great macro calls over the years. I plan on being a subscriber after listening to some of his work and hearing him talk passionately about going direct to people outside the bank walls.

Ouriel Ohayon reached out to me when he saw I was in town (via my food shots) and we grabbed a quick beer. Ouriel was very early crypto entrepreneur I met here back in 2017 and 2019 who created/founded the excellent crypto wallet ZenGo. The Wallet Security is bulletproof and unique. No more passwords, private keys, or tedious seed phrases to forget or lose. Secured by private, encrypted facial biometrics and industry-leading encryption. I am trying it out myself now.

I had a few great pita sandwiches today but my favorite was Jasmino’s on Allenby. It was a symphony of tastes and texture..

I will be back for more tomorrow.

Have a great Tuesday.
