I am looking at some morning news and there is giddiness about Best Buy’s blowout numbers.

Best Buy is the most useless ‘tell’ for anyone other than Apple and subprime. The numbers are good so that’s good news for Apple and tells me people care more about paying for their 60 inch plasma than their home. Not shocking :) .

It’s Walmart of adult toys. Toys that get cheaper and toys that have crap margins. Best Buy does well and therefore are allowed to continue with their awful service and bait and switch financing campaigns. That’s about as far as the numbers go. Circuit City and the rest of the electronic retailers continue to blow.

Best Buy always destroys the shorts though. It’s kind of like a bull toy in a way.
