Copart is much like the P & G of the auto industry. Recession or upswing, cars are being wrecked everyday. Everyday, Copart acquires more inventory to sell no matter what the economic conditions are (and even on rainy and snowy days – there car count probably increases!) This company creates cash, has no inventory it owns, and has virtually no debt and is virtually recession proof.
