As volatile as the global markets are, there are some stocks outside energy that are working. That said, energy stocks like RIG and RDC are in pullbacks from recent all-time high breakouts. The equipment stocks have been great buys on pullbacks throughout the bull run.

I own Coinstar (CSTR) – also Wallstripped – and that’s holding it’s all-time high breakout for now despite the market weakness. Another I own is Datascope (DSCP) which I blogged about a few months back and is boring but holding.

One tech stock I will be adding this week at some point is BMC Software. I got the idea from the blog of Barry Rithotz’s software research site. Here is what they said . Not at an all-time high, but considering the bubble, it looks like one to me. There are many good free ideas on Fusion’s blog.
