Henry Blodget…My Worst Call!

You all know I like Henry, appreciated his early Wallstrip support and love AlleyInsider . I read it and Techmeme.com for my web and financial news.

Last night I was checking out the visual resume that Henry has up on AlleyInsider (i like that idea by the way). I was pleased to see his Wallstrip interview so prominently displayed. It was a good one from what I had remembered and we were early with the AlleyInsider praise.

What had me laugh my ass off was the long/short section. Go check it out re Spitzer.

I emailed Henry that this HAD TO BE his worst call ever…LONG Spitzer. What makes it so ironic is how much Henry would have obviously liked to pound the table SHORT on Spitzer – from his own website:

After I left Wall Street, I was keelhauled by New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, who alleged that conflicts of interest had led a dozen firms and analysts, including me, to publish misleading research

I will have to fine Henry, but instead of banning him, get him back on the show ASAP for SpitzerGate.

One of my favorite parts about Wallstrip is the interviews. Lindsay got to ask the questions, but I was behind the scenes writing them. She was good at catching and editing the ones that I knew would cause controversy just for the sake of it and get her in trouble.

Here is the full interview with all the funny comments as well .
