San Francisco is a Blur

Crazy few days in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. I love the city. I am staying at the W Hotel this time and using Starwood Points. I like this particular W.

Yesterday, I had lunch with one of Wallstrip’s and my blogs uber smart readers Soren. We chatted currencies and what a nightmare time he had working for the cheap bastards at Apple (note – good for shareholders). I spent some time on the Berkeley campus and visited with the TubeMogul team. They are growing like a weed and the whole campus had some great energy.

In the afternoon I checked out Mark Pinkus’s new incubator campus (building) and hung with Loic Le Meur, founder of Seesmic . Check out Seesmic and try and get an invite. It’s like Twitter, just with video conversations. I love this idea for the stock traders.

Today was my first trip down to Sand Hill Road today and as I twittered…big woop. There is a lot of money and decision power in a few buildings though which is pretty cool at some level. If I lived in this part of the world I think it would be Palo Alto…can’t afford it so no worries.

My friend Eddie Daroza, writes for KRON 4, which is a News Corp. affiliate in San Francisco. He just had me on Rob Black’s show. That was fun. Should be up later.

My buddy Sonny Singh from Inmage.net (I can’t believe I passed on this investment), was my guide today.

Tonight it’s dinner with Bijan, Brett, Eddie, Om Malik and Eric Marcoullier (MyBlogLog founder). Om will likely get drunk and start hassling people as usual :) . Developing…
