One of the chip companies that is riding the living room gadget phenomenon is Sigma Designs (SIGM).
This stock is on fire. I bought the all-time high back on October 12th at around $18. I am still writing a blog because I did not buy enough :) .

The stock shot up another 15 percent today ahead of our show. The Wallstrip effect :) .
I consider Sigma a component play and because of my awful experiences in this sector of investing, I have kept my position small.
No wonder it is up 50 percent! In hindsight, I let my OPINION cloud a perfect breakout to all-time highs. Humongous base and insane volume that just continues. Putz!
