TheStreet.Com (TSCM)…Stop with the Offers!

The only thing more relentless THAN the selling of TheStreet.com by shareholders are the offers FROM TheStreet.com to Mookie Wilson’s, Jim Plunkett and Guy Lafleur’s can’t miss stock picks.

The company has $70 plus million in sales and $80 million in cash (no debt) and traffic up the wazoo, yet has a market cap of $110 million.

WTF?

I will tell you WTF, the market hates what you are doing. They are sick of you as a public company.

The fact that it trades this low is a testament to many things:

1. How toxic the Private Equity market is

2. How toxic James Cramer is to institutions and people on the ‘REAL’ inside

3. How sick shareholders are with the lack of innovation in a space screaming for it (the market does not trust the company with the cash and therefore is not giving it any value)

The market sucks and of course that plays a factor. Tom Clarke et all have done an amazing job bringing the stock back from the brink once already.
