Video on My Mind

I have a long flight to Tel Aviv this weekend (and of course the return flight a week later) so I need to load up my iPad with content to pass the time.

On a flight back from Europe the other day, Ellen and I leaned back and watched the first season of Broadchurch on Netflix.

The show was amazing. It was also amazing that our iPad lasted for 8 hours of video.

I have a few show ideas I have been working through on paper.

It has gotten to the point that I have been talking to production companies to cost them out.

I’m not yet seriously considering my Broadway idea ‘Bitcoin – The Musical’.

The web is still the smartest place to get started.

Social Leverage is investors in Startstackin.com which believes that finance does not have to be boring. They are creating short educational videos for social network distribution. I like their strategy. Keep sharing and refining.

One of my old favorite stocks is perking up at all-time highs again – Ricks’ Cabaret. Rick’s is a rollup of strip clubs.

Back in 2007, my Wallstrip days, I had the crew make this spoof of a Rick’s Cabaret conference call:

It’s been 11 years since Wallstrip and now that there are so many communities and audiences to get content watched, it might be fun to create some content that was educational and sometimes hilarious for a next generation of investors.

Let me know what you think.
