The optimist in me says stay long until the average person figures out where the hell it is. I do know that Google Finance knows where to find it.

I have been long a little EWM for a few years . Asia is dragging the MAL along for the ride. The stock is prone to rapid selloffs, partly because it is thin. Chime in with better ETF or country plays if you can. Thanks.

Ports, offshore banking (kind of the Switzerland of Asia), I think gambling was just legalized. Emerging biotech hub. All the good stuff.
Was in Penang, Malaysia at the end of May. They are planting palm oil plantations and encouraging real estate development; if you retire to Malaysia there are tax incentives. Health care in Penang is good because of missionaries. But it’s a Muslim country with some limits to free speech.
