I just get finished writing about Google and Ebay playing nice to read that Erik Scmidt is joining Apple’s Board of Directors .

I have been speculating here for a while that Google should just buy Apple and finish off the rest of the Nasdaquians and tonight we take a step in that direction (in my opinion).

Lots of discussion over at TechMeme about this and the other big Universal news (new iTunes competitor) earlier in the day where Universal is backing a start-up called Spiral Frog offering ad-driven free music. Why not just name the thing ebarfmusic.com as the logo and design make me dizzy.

Cool possibilities though.
