Beginning investor’s have been asking me for a list of best online brokers. I don’t use one, did use Tradestation and had few complaints.
Barron’s ranked the following best:
TD Ameritrade
Optionsxpress
Fidelity Investments
Muriel Siebert
TradeKing

Interesting that Zecco, the new free on-line broker, was ranked last.

Howard, I use Zecco and I’d say its really not that interesting that they’re ranked last. They are the absolute no frills broker. They offer nothing in the way of research, charts, or even Level II quotes. Free trades is all you get. But free is free.
