I am 50 today.
I got some fantastic birthday wishes (thanks so much everyone) and none better than from my son Max who is obviously a sweet dude.
I don’t have any big plans or goals because life is working out fantastic. Two healthy kids, 2 heathy dogs, 1 healthy wife, 12 nieces and nephews who I think are great, two cool sisters and a mom. I have investors and long time partners who trust me. I am lucky and I am appreciative.
My thirties were all about worrying and my forties were all about catching up for my mistakes in my thirties. I am focused on my fifties being about giving back. Based on what I have seen and heard, I should be worrying and getting ready to panic at any moment.
I tweeted this thought when I woke up 50 today:
This morning wherever my dog pees I pee. #im50andiearnedit

It takes most of my energy not to worry.
All around me is worry.
Even Warren Buffett has a plan for not letting is cash go below $20 billion. Yes he said it.
Ray Dalio has $154 billion and he’s worried.
Our own chosen leaders and media have put us an out of control path of panic, fear and greed. Screw them. I don’t support it.
I am focused on keeping my worrying in perspective.
I hope to help contribute to a calmer world around me as my next 10 years begin.
You’re the best! Love you H! Happy 50th!
Happy Birthday. I hope you succeed in your next ten years contribution. Thank you for your thoughts and insights.
