Lactose Intolerant, but Open to Profitable Milk Trade!

I love milk. It kills me (actually my family :) ), but I love it. Skim milk is like drinking vomit, so I am a 2 percent guy.

I have a weakness for cereal and milk shakes. Lattes are easy to give up despite the supposed caffeine addiction issues.

So, what’s with this ‘Kefir ‘ dairy products from Lifeway (LWAY). The stock is on fire . Is it the Jones Soda of Milk?

Anyone using this stuff?

Bueller….

Milk futures up 70% this year on the CME, with China guzzling down 30% of the world’s milk output. I’ve been looking for a milk play, Howard. Thanks!

I love LWAY’s Kefir. The stuff taste’s great and is good for you. Plus, I swear the probiotics gives one a slight buzz almost instantly after drinking the stuff.

I long LWAY since the last pullback.

oh no, LWAY’s back. I made a killing shorting it back in 2004 or so. This run seems more sustainable though…

Have you ever tried soy milk? Silk’s Vanilla flavored is pretty good. And if you’re using it on cereal and in other things (i.e. not drinking it straight) you may not even notice that it’s not cow’s milk… your family WILL notice though! :-)

I think Kefir products are a “natural gas” play if you catch my drift. Tried that stuff once years ago and never again.

DF may also be a milk play. They bought Horizon Organic, which I think makes the best organic milk.

The chart looks like hell though, although it may be getting ready to roar back.

Never had gas from LWAY. YMMV.

Whats wrong with ADY? Broker A mentioned it when I was scouring for plays on the rapidly rising price of milk (and OJ), fucker. Now you tell me its a loser. Hardly; It was 1 in 2002, now its 20. We all should own such losers. A Chinese milk play .. it may just pull a BIDU.

The various berry flavors are available for around $3 per quart at my local specialty grocery. It is like a drinkable yogurt, but with a little more bite. Our pug digs it too.

Kefir has been around for years. Worldwide demand for milk is high and the supply is constant. Thus higher profits for the processors and farmers.
