More on Failure and This and That…

Thanks for all the kind replies to my ‘failure’ post. If you search my blog you will find many that I wrote back in 2006 when I started blogging. It was cathartic to write about my mistakes but since most people don’t want to go back in the archives I will update them more fully while on vacation this week in Cancun. I would love to write a book about failures as was suggested in the comments, but first you must have some successes or no one will take you seriously. I have had about 5 Whoppers on the mistake side and 3 extra basers. My book is very descriptive of the whoppers so although the title won’t be about failure, you will have a dedicated chapter to see the ‘HORROR’.

My new fund and partners – Knightsbridge Capital is having what Andy Swan calls a ‘LindzonPalooza” here in Phoneix the last weekend of February. So far about 60 clients, CEO’s, Venture Capitalists and friends are attending a weekend of golf, networking, food and Phenix Suns (shootaround with Shaq). If you are nice to me and in town, let me know and we will get you in. It is going to be a blast.

I have been writing for my all-time favorite newspaper The Globe and Mail out of my hometown in Toronto. Scott Adams has made it real fun for me and it’s great to be involved with my hometown in a business writing related way. I am honored actually. He is a fantastic editor as well. Here is my latest column . It is a monthly column and I think this is the sixth.

Brad had a link to a good post by Seth Levine on failure in the Venture Capital business. Us stock guys have a lot more going for us…LIQUIDITY.
