Post number 1,000 – Cool…

It has been a great and productive day here in New York. Trader Mike and I met lot’s of readers and we had the pleasure of spending some quality time with Michelle leder of Footnoted.ORG :) . She will deny it, but she was one cocktail away from revealing her secret sauce word pattern for scouring corporate filings. We did squeeze in a bunch of great work on Wallstrip .

I was checking the comments in my last post and Andy pointed out that this post would be my 1,000th. Thanks for the heads up Andy.

It sure feels like yesterday and I am more energized than ever. I guess that’s good.

The best thing about blogging – at least in my case – is the growth in comments. What once felt lonely now feels exciting as I await the comments and discussion and insight. It is fun to have people not just read but feel compelled to comment.

In response to my 999th post – regarding the September 12th Apple media event, Jordan Glasner wrote:

“I’m still betting on an internet enabled iPod. Goodbye Sirius & XM.”

I say goodbye to XMSR and Sirius for all sorts of reasons and this would be the coolest one as I am long Apple.

I would like to briefly thank all the great people who inspired me to start, continue, improve, and expand my blog. They are – in no special order (other than my wife):

My wife Ellen and my sweet kids who put up with the habit and my wife who is my biggest fan and critic. She now enjoys it and as consuming as it is agrees that is better than trading stocks as an addiction.

I’m curious–what is in the “Goodie Bag” you got after giving that acceptance speech (by the way, you forgot to thank the acadamy)

Damn you Loren, I wanted to be first comment on Howard’s “I love Comments” post.

No! Thanks to you for making our days
complete. Sometimes we get so tired with
work and we have your blogs to keep us
    entertained for awhile.

Congrats on 1,000…keep up the good work!!

I know how you feel in relation to anticipating comments. You had a hit with you “Top 10 Reasons You Know You’re Addicted To The Stock Market.” That was a Lindzon classic :)
