Tactically Delicious…

I can’t believe August is here.

I spent the last 30 days on a plane and got back to Phoenix last night for a few days of catching up at home. It is sooooo hot, but the city is nice and empty. I got up very early this morning for my first bike ride in a month. It felt good. I will do the same for the next few days and then I am off to Coronado with Ellen as home base for September and October.

While I do not recommend timing the market, August and September have been the worst two months for stocks since the 1950’s.

The market is a mood ring and with the end of summer and back to school, it makes sense to me that the next two months are at best tricky.

Should you sell all your stocks and wait until October to get back in?

I don’t know. I think doing less is a smart thing to do.

Should you enjoy the rest of the summer and spend some more time with your kids?

YES.

PS – Yesterday I mentioned the silliness in the fake meat world of Beyond Meat. One of my readers sent me a link to this excellent high level overview of Beyond and the its competitors.

PSS – Let us all pray for Apple who report earnings tomorrow. I have no idea what will happen, but I do know that the ladies love their Apple watches. Rachel bought her first and likes the fitness tracking and says she competes with her friends.
