Weekend Sun on Walstrip

I revisited the Sun/Solar trend this weekend.

It’s a basic supply/demand issue on Wall Street. Investors don’t have enough solar stocks and the existing stocks are being bid up…and down, fast.

Since we covered the Solar industry back in March, FSLR, ASTI and TSL have been on wild rides. First Solar is showing itself to be the big leader while ASTI and TSL have given up their huge gains.

Recently we covered WFR as well, a chipmaker for the industry which just may be the smartest way to catch this trend right now.

I expect the volatility to continue as investors try and find the solar plays with real growth and delivery capabilities.

    crdn is a back door solar play.. while most view these guys as a defense/body armor play, they have been diversifying their ceramic tech into areas including nuke waste containment and solar… in june they opened large solar plant in china… the stock made an all time high in july (for u trend worshipers out there) linkage…
