When Will I SELL?

Lot’s of happy emails and congrats and for the first time in a few years, I feel like selling everything.

I won’t.

We are going higher, but even if we go lower, I can’t call tops and bottoms. I don’t even care anymore to make such calls. What’s the upside – a date with Elaine Garzarelli?

I am human and will break rules – like buying the shortable homebuilders despite me calling them a value trap. I am not a machine. I need to try and just gut out a base hit now and than.

I broke my sell rules and dumped all of my RIMM 90 ponts ago and CROX 40 points ago. Felt good to lock in a proft. Would have felt better TO OWN THEM STILL TODAY :) . Should have just watched some porn that day.

There is a lot of air under my highfliers, but I don’t have all my money in stocks. Not enough based on how right trend following has been the last few years. I am just trying every day to stick as close to a working discipline that I can.

Who’s Elaine Garzarelli? Oh wait, she was the former market guru nauseatingly featured on CNBC. I think it she called the 1972 bear market or something. Talk about being banned to oblivion. She used to be featured against the best Bulls on CNBC. Where is she now?

Howard, Sean’s request is pretty interesting and has potential to be pretty educational. *You* have blog readers to facilitate the flow of news to you. What’s a good way for me to see the big picture w/o having to sift through a million headlines, mission statements, and 10k’s a day? Unfortunately your blog and Wallstrip can’t do it alone. ;)
