Barry Bonds Rookie Card – Buy, Sell, Hold

It has been a while since I went through my giant baseball card collection. Fifteen years at least.

My son Max wanted to play with them today so off he went. Next thing I know, all my cards are out of the plastic and binders and scrambled all over the floor.

Sitting under Bagel my dog is my “Topps” Barry Bonds, mint condition rookie card.

SPARED.

Off to Google to find out the price. Sweet Nina. I want to sell. Thoughts?

nice! I have a massive card collection also…. fun stuff. I also had the good fortune to work in the dugout at a couple giants games. I met bonds a few times, and I can say, he really is a dick. haha
and he’s HUGE. the strongest guy I’ve ever seen.

  2. i have jose and mark mcgwire as well.

I cant believe some of the cards I am finding today. I miss some of the great players – Joe Crater, Devon White, Dave Stieb, Kelly Gruber, Jesse \barfiled, from my great Toronto Blue Jay teams

plee eddie – matt williams went out a joke in az.

the back to back jays were sick talent.

I will give you will clark and I just found his rookie card. A stud and cool dude for sure.

Don’t have to like the memory to be a great memory. Yes, Tomlinson is a stud but truly a nice person too. And that’s more rare than any rookie card in modern sports.

BTW Wallstrip rocks! The only videocast my wife has interest in watching. Your on to something BIG don’t give up!

Did I just read great and Blue Jays in the same sentence?!?!? Haha. jk, it’s all about the ’89 Giants. Will Clark, Matt Williams, Kevin Michell. Battle of the Bay!

  6. eddie Daroza says:

yeah Clark was the best… but Williams had a great run. Look at Michell’s career for a joke. The guy finished in the minors, and kept punching out fans. Canseco ended up pretty hilarious also. Remember when the ball bounced off his head for a homer? ha.

My son can fend for himself. I have a bar mitzvah to save for. He can thank Barry during his manhood acceptance speech.
