My son Max got his yellow belt in Karate today. He really earned it. When he started, I was part of the ‘this is a scam deal’. You show up and they throw belts at you as long as you pay.

I was wrong.

Max has worked hard for the first belt and he is proud. He has learned discipline and he is respectful and shit he can kick, punch and block already. There was some real coordination I saw at the test.

Great day for the Maxster and Dad. I can’t help but think of the Seinfled Karate episode. I know Kramer is a putz, but what a comedic actor.
