Definitely funny stuff. Like a golf swing, timing is everything.
Even as a non-fan of Bush, I have to admit I would have been impressed on 9/12/01 had I been told of conditions 5 years later. It’s easy to get caught up in the echo-chamber of bloggers 2.0 if you’re not careful. The bottom line is: Now that a very small group with zero diplomatic connections can realisticly kill large numbers of people like never before, “wars” will ALWAYS be on…..and things will never be the same.
And a LOT of innocent people are going to be killed by all sides. I hate that for my daughter and her generation. And I refuse to blame it on any ONE. Not Bush, not Osama and not Clinton. It just is, and we better start dealing with it and coming up with BETTER SOLUTIONS, instead of bashing whoever it is that is out there actually trying to do something about it.
To me, it’s the old rule…. don’t critisize the person, critisize the idea, and don’t even do that unless you have a better one.
